A local JV of Shahjibazar Power Co. Ltd. with Viyellatex Ltd. is a 51 MW Power plant named as Midland Power Co. Ltd (“MPCL”) situated at Ashugonj, B. Baria. Partnering with world renowned maker of integrated power system Rolls-Royce, “MPCL” has established the project successfully. The project is a Gas fuelled power plant under the 15 years Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with BPDB situated at Ashugonj, Bangladesh has been operated from December 2013 as well.
