Midland East Power Limited a 150 MW HFO Fired power project situated at Chor Chartola, Ahsugonj, B. Baria has kicked off commercial operation from November 26, 2018. The plant has used state of the art engines manufactured by world famous engine manufacturing company Rolls Royce, Norway. As per the terms with BPDB, the plant shall generate and supply electricity to BPDB for 15 years from the date of Commercial Operation. This power plant is one of the Fast Track power projects awarded by the Government earlier.
